As Canada’s leading office furniture manufacturer, our goal has always been to provide our
customers with the very best products, service, value and pricing. As we move closer to 2009,
economic pressures continue unabated. Oil prices have continued to rise dramatically resulting in
higher inbound and outbound transportation costs. In addition, there has been a dramatic impact on the costs of resin, plastic wood and steel. In an effort to minimize disruption to our customers’
businesses Global has been absorbing these raw material costs for well over a year. Unfortunately, it
is not possible to do so beyond the end of this year.
Accordingly, we have no choice but to increase our published Salon Price List - effective January 1, 2009 as follows:
All Global Salon products will increase by 8% over the 2008 price list. An electronic version will be available before the end of this year and the new printed published price list will be distributed in January 2009.
